If I remember right, Mr. Grumbine has his mounted from the ceiling. I will be glad to furnish pics of mine as soon as I get it up this Sunday.............:D

I plan on installing blocking between the ceiling joists with some lag bolts, then through bolting the lamp base to the block. Doubt very seriously whether or not I will get it placed correctly the first time, but that's OK, too..........

What kind of ceiling arrangement do you have?

i dont have one yet but see there is 3 different mount styles---ceiling,wall and post,dont know if i need a special type or can addept anyone----tks,joe

I have mine mounted to a board that is coming off the wall out toward my headstock. Just drill a hole the size of the mounting pin and stuck it in there. Been working just fine now for about 3 years. :D
