As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am building a wooden box/urn for a friend. Is there anyone in the group that can engrave a name and birth/death dates and possibly a cross on the top?? Would certainly be willing to pay a reasonable price for this.

The laser people can do that - post in that forum. If there's no one close to you, go to a store that sells trophies and they will do it for you (for a price).

As an alternate, consider carving it. If you can't do it, check if there's a carving club in your area and contact them.

Thanks Mike: I did not realize there was a forum for Lasers! I posted a request for that group.

Hi Mike; I'm not sure if you have seen my answer to your original post with respect to Urns. This is a companion urn for my love and myself when the time comes. I had our honeymoon pic laser engraved on the top.

Mack: I went back and checked the picture. Outstanding! Very nice and it gave me some great ideas.
