Anyone know where a zero clearance plate can be purchased for the Ridgid TS 3650?

I just traced the regular plate on 1/4 inch plywood and cut it out on the bandsaw. A layer of masking tape on the edge shimmed any low points. Some of them earned a strip of hardwood glued in the center to provide extra stiffness. I left out the hold-down screw, and drilled a hole for my finger to lift it out.

Time to make a few was less than the time to find them and place an order, and they were cheap to boot.

I just grabbed a piece off my scrap pile and made my own, rough cut it with a jigsaw and used doublestick tape and stuck it to the original and used a flush trim bit to get it to final size, took about 15 minutes and it did not cost a dime.

Back when I had my 2424, I made my own from scrap oak in the shop....very nice looking!

John's got the idea. I just made four out of scrap 1/2" BB ply last night. MDF is also stable during the winter months but I didn't have any handy. Remember to use a splitter!!!

Call your local cabinet shop, I scored a piece of material that is a knockoff of Corian. It was a sample that UPS broke. I got 10 ZCI out of it. Even drilled and taped set screws in them.
