As you might be aware. I am building a workshop with sip panels and just got a hellacious deal on a lot of lumber such as 1x4 pine & cedar 12 ft, 2x4 pine 8, 10 & 16, 1x8 14 ft and 2x8 x10. Its all surplus from a big job, Top choice & Canfor, it says KD but I'm not relying on that. The question is, we had a severe rain today in Austin and the lumber was on a trailer for a few hours being driven over here. Its stacked in my workshop ( not stickered ) and I put a fan on it to remove the obvious moisture. Shoud I worry about it as its for framing and a little warping wont hurt or should I restack it , its a lot of wood, about 500 boards, TIA Neville in Austin

Neville,

It will be fine.

Little hint for drop loads outside, its not the moisture that kill's it,

The direct sunlight drying out one side is the problem.

No direct sun or heat, no problem.

When in doubt re-stack. Or you could get a moisture meter.
