This is a small Tea Chest I built for the Owner of our local "Tea Store". It was constructed from Walnut with Maple Keys to hold commonly sized Tea Bags. I will be building another, slightly larger to accomodate 6 small metal cans to hold loose tea.

Mike, nice solution for the tea. Ours just ends up thrown in a drawer somewhere. Good job.

I really like the detail at the top. Nice work Mike. I like to put accent strips in my boxes and frames too. It just adds that little something.

Thanks to everyone who commented. Yes, I am still learning to use inlays and different types of wood, but I'll get there :)

I replaced the picture of the interior, one of the dividers was sticking up in the first posting.

I just got some walnut... I hope I do it as proud as you have done with it... Very classy...

Real nice Mike. I like this alot. Reminds me of the boxes that they have a the Courtyard Marriots that hold their tea bags. I got caught staring at it one day, not the tea. The help asked me if there was a problem ...lol. Nope.. just looking at the box. Got the O.... K... look :)
Love walnut and you got some good looking stuff there. I am an aspiring box builder myself. Nice work all around Mike!
