Did you ever have one of those projects that just would not behave?
It is about 10" wide and about 6" deep. I roughed out the bowl soaked it in alcohol and wrapped it in paper and it started to crack I glued all the cracks with CA and it appeared to stop. I began to finish turn and found that there were larger cracks on the inside. So I broke up some malachite I had around and glued it into the cracks, sanded and finished the inside and outside it looked good so I jam chucked it and began to finish the bottom when it came off. I was not happy you can ask the neighbors I am sure. :o
