new bowl some mystery australian wood

but looks like walnut to me. anyway about 1/4 thick all around. giving it to a friend for a going away present as he is moving 'back home' foot is not complete yet but t will be. I must say I learned alot turning this bowl. some cuts I was having difficulty on I 'figured out' while I was turning this.

Well finished with 2 coats of spray laquer

Keith that is a neat looking bowl. I have tried to get one to look like that but it didn't turn out like yours. Great job.
