Automotive paint

Has anyone lasered anything directly on automotive paint(ie door handles, gas filler doors, etc)?

I can't say I've done anything like that, but...I did do the glass top of a Pontiac Fiero!!! It looked awesome!! The guy was ecstatic and I was quite nervous while burning it. He didn't care if it didn't turn out well as he thought the car was the next in line to burn anyway;)
