Hi folks,
I'm working on a muprhy bed (my first big project) and looking to jazz up the headboard a bit, but not sure what I want to do. It is a roughly 16"X 62" glued up panel of hickory. I was thinking of a cloud lift design, but I'm not sure how to lay it out. I tried laying it out on a piece of hardboard half the length of the panel. but nothing looks right.
I plan to cut a template out of hardboard 1/2 the length of the headboard and then pattern rout one half, flip the template over and rout the other half.
Anyone have any suggestions on laying out the cloud lift or any other designs that might look nice. I'm looking for a simple design.
Pictures, drawings, measurements, anything would help.
