Well here is a little box I did this afternoon. I had a scrap piece of elm and a small piece of honey locust. Will be out of town this week so didn't really want to start anything serious. Finish with EEE and Lacquer. Not much but a lot of fun doing a different form.

Sweet looking little box buddy! I like that shape. I like the 2 different woods you used as well.

Looking good Bernie, first word that comes to mind is "cute" something I might try for my daughter. Keep up the good work

Thanks I appreciate it. I did try to give it that type of flair Keith. I have a couple I want to try that Stott did. They have a Japanese flair or Chinese flair to them. Should be kinda cool when done.

Bernie, that is simply a beautiful piece. I'm attempting to make my first lid for a piece I hope it fits as well as yours

"Cute" pretty much sums it up! Good job Bernie. Which lathe did you use? The little one, the bigger little one, the medium one, or did you buy a monster one yet?

Thanks again. I appreciate it. Barry used the Rikon. Works pretty darn well. Got the little Delta cleaned up and putting on a new belt so it will be ready to go to the nephew at Christmas.
