View Full Version : candle holder w/natural edge (first)

this is my first ever bowl/container attempt

i think it is cherry has a natural edge bottom used the harbor freight tool set and of course the rikon
it got so smooth i couldnt dare put any stain poly on so i just waxed and buffed it
the edge at the top is like a knife edge i actually cut myself small one while sanding
anyone from pa that grew up in the 70's kinda reminds me of a three mile island cooling tower my wife has laid claim to it for a candle holder

my first 44 years ago did not look that good. ( was mostly chips at the shop of North Jr High in Boise Idaho) :eek: :eek: :D
Keep at it, there are billions of candles out there that need holders ...:p , I know, my wife sells em.......:o :D

Hey corey nice candle holders I hope I can pull off that close in thickness with the fancy ones I am going to be doing. They look great.
