Hey all,

I am probably going to build a ride-on toy for my youngest here pretty soon. An idea of what I am doing is at the following link.

I love the wooden wheels, but I am having trouble locating tires for the wheels. Does anyone know where I can get something like this? If not, can you think of an alternative for a tire?

I have already thought of maybe using a vacuum cleaner belt for the tire.

Any thoughts or helps would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Rob Hix

Get a thick inner tube, cut it like a rubber band and then cut the wooden disk to the size that the inner tube fits like a glove. Or could cut the inner tube wider and attach with small brads or something on the side so the floor isn't getting marred.
