Hello all,
I am about to apply an alanine dye to a maple blanket chest I have been building. The question I have is do I sand to 220g then wet the wood to raise the grain and lightly resand with 220. Or stop now (at 180 I think) wet the wood then sand with 220?
I can not remember.
