Got home yesterday (Mon) from our annual ten day dirt track racing vacation in Syracuse,NY. Been doing this annual trip for well over twenty years. Dirt track racing has been a part of my life since I was five years old in the early sixties. I've covered the sport for nearly thirty years as a columnist and event reporter, done both television and radio work as a color commentator, done weekly track announcing duties, PR work for tracks and drivers and even some publishing. We attended what was called Super DIRT Week and the link below is a collection of photos from this past Sunday.

The photo below is of the driver who took home a bounty over the course of the week. In three events that we attended, this guy (his name is Danny Johnson) won all three and pocketed close to $100,000 smackeroos.
