:) I have made a down and dirty set of wheels. They are not perfect and it may be easier to make them on a lath. Step one is to draw a circle on a block of wood with a compass making sure to mark the center. Rough cut the wheel on a bandsaw. Drill a hole with a spade bit deep enough for the head of a lag bolt. Then drill completely through the rough wheel with a bit the diameter of the bolt. Put the wheel on the jig and slowly rotate it against a disk sander; flip the wheel over and resand. Use a 1/4" roundover bit on the router to finish the wheel. I am putting these wheels on the bottom of a pirate chest but they would work equally well on a childs toy.:cool:
