Dual drum sander

I bought a used Lobo 20" dual drum sander. It's in a hundred pieces so the pictures will have to wait. ( soon I promise)
I will use it to sand hardwood.
I am looking for a source for sandpaper. I called one of the larger distributers but could not understand half of what the sales person was saying.
Is "X" weight paper the best to use on this type of sander?
The sandpaper that was on it is 6" wide. Does the width of the sandpaper make a difference? Could I use 4" wide paper?

Hi Keith, I used to have a Kufo branded 20" dual drum sander. This one might be similar or even the same as your Lobo model. From what I remember the 6" wide paper worked better or wrapped better. Not sure about the paper weight. I order my paper for my widebelt and other needs from Klingspor. They have a good website where you should find what you need. Good luck.
