I'm new at woodturning and would like ordor a magazine. My wife says I can only have one, but she has been overruled before. Which one would best for a beginner? I can see her side because recieve six other magazines already.
I,m enjoying this forum, thanks.

You might also join the AAW, http://www.woodturner.org/ Then have a quarterly magazine that is top notch.

Order Woodturning Design as your 'Magazine' a good choice for all levels of experience. Join AAW as a 'Club' and the Journal is just that 'Clubs' newsletter. Within the law just streching the spirit of the law.

PS: You might get clubbed with my logic

I agree with Frank, Woodturning Design and AAW. Follow up with their web sites, and find a chapter of AAW in your area and go check them out. You can start here right now :

Mags and forums are great, but DVD and in-person will round out your education and make this so much more fun!
