Hello all,

Thanks for the quick responses so often, this group is amazing and I'm confident with the knowledge that you have all been so generous to share, that I can really start to use my imagination. As you've come to show me with a little inginuity, anything can pretty much be done, there's always a way around it. So thanks for that. Another question of curiosity and interest. Those really thin sheets of magets. They're aprox 1/16" thick and the size of a sheet of paper. Can you cut those on a laser? Engrave them if they're coated? Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks again guys

Matthew Sullivan

Yes! There is even a company who makes a so called Laser magnet. allthough I don't think it is necessary. We have cut and engraved just regular sheet magnet without any problems.

Attached are some pictures!

Laserbits and others sell the thin magnetic in colors for laser work. When using the normal sign magnetic be careful, most of it (like 30 mil Magnum Magnetics) is coated with vinyl, containing PVC.
