Those are really beautiful.
I've just recently cut down an old apple tree from some friends land, and I've been cutting the bigger pieces into bowl blanks. I kept a bunch of the smaller stuff (6-8") and was wondering what to do with it. Ornaments sound like a great idea. I think I'll practice on something thats easier to get , like box elder or something.
Does anyone know of a good book on ornaments?
Thanks... Todd

I think Dick Sing does ornaments in two of his books. He's fairly local to me and I've seen him demo these several times. Just made the first ones last month. Need more practice!

Nice work Curt

Our club had two members demo ornaments at the last meeting. Very interesting I haven't tried one yet but think I might give it a try soon.
