Sorry - Details (forgot them last night, was probaly so excited since the Bears took care of the Seahawks):

The cabinet is made of oak with "golden pecan" MinWax stain with many coats of wipe on satin poly. And "yes the base sits a little proud of the cabinet (borrowed this idea I think from a post at SMC)>

The drawers are baltic Birch ply and dovetailed at all four corners (first ones made on my Incra LS positioner - I did have to re-make one of the rear panels because I goofed and switched template colors in the middle of the job). In the top drawer the CD's are held in place by TS kerf cuts. I experimented to get depth/spacing right.

 ...and now the wife wants another just like it!

Well Done Mike.
But are you sure you want your DVDs naked??
Many studies on deterioration of data over time. Dust and dirt doesn't help.
I really like the table.

Hi Mike:

Really nice........I like all the details.

Question:

Do the base rails fit flush to the feet, or are they set back slightly??? I like how you altered the grain direction there.
