I'm lending a hand to a neighbor in getting rid of her deceased husbands tools.
One of the items left is a radial arm saw that I would love to own but I want to make sure that she gets a fair price for it.
It is a craftsman model 113-29440
10"
I've been unable to find anything out about it besides it appears he bought it in about 1970
Have found several close to it on the net but slightly different model numbers. Have not been able to find even a fair value on them.
I am guessing that it works (would run it to make sure if I buy it) but he was one to make sure that things that did not work were fixed or thrown out.
So, any idea on what a fair price would be if you owned it and were selling it?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Mike,
Did you check www.OWWM.com (http://www.OWWM.com). That would be the first place I'd look.

Don, I signed up over there earlier today. Still waiting for an administrator to approve the membership.
Thanks

Mike, you should know that this is one of the saws covered by the Emerson / Craftsman recall (radialarmsawrecall.com for details). It appears that no retrofit kit is available for this model, so Emerson will pay $100 for the return of the motor.

Kent, appreciate the info. Site keeps telling me it is an invalid model number. Not sure why as I copied the number off the saw and I also have the original peperwork on it that was mixed in with a bunch of old hand tools I was given.
Thanks again

Kent,
Based on you seriel number this is the closest one I can find to the one you are looking at.

Based on that info, I wouldn't give 1 cent over $100 and probubly half of that.
