i friend sent me a box of taxis yew and all the branches are small. perfect for pens and smaller items. these are my idea of small items.

Looks good Laurie. I can't imagine even being able to "see" how to turn something that small, much less the tool control to turn them out. very nice!

Cool stuff, Laurie. Must take a steady hand and teeny tools. I can only imagine the little chainsaw you had to use to cut the bowl blanks. :D

i just want to thank you for all your tiny comments.:D no tiny chain saw, no tiny bandsaw. a small branch and not enough time for a big bowl.:rolleyes: they are a lot of fun to turn. i used a micro turning set i got with the midi lathe.
