The pond site will die at midnight Friday and be read only after midnight Thursday. Jim Shaver made a good post (http://www.wwforum.com/cgi-bin/forum_main/ptools2.cgi?read=453346) today. A collection of photos from projects posted on the pond.

I'm here to stay at the "Creek". I like it. Of course, I'm reading other forums. Snowed in Arkansas last night with more coming tommorrow............... Peacock got more than I did. I'll bet he's fed up with the Arkansas weather.

At least AR weather is "squirrelier" than Alabama's weather.....Just can't get used to 65_° on Monday and 20° on Monday night and wake up Tuesday morning with ELEVEN INCHES of snow.........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't seen this much snow since I was stationed in Italy and went snow skiing and it snowed 3 feet the night before I went skiing..................ever seen a redneck Alabama kid put on ski's and see snow for the 2nd time in his life...and the snow was piled up higher than any "cow" he'd ever seen? Equipment check:

Ski's - check
pole's - check
gloves - check
longjohns - check
bluejeans - check
sweatshirt - check
coat of whatever you can wear - check

Hit the line for the lift.......almost kill yourself trying to figure out how to hop in a MOVING Chair........flop out of this moving chair thing like a bigmouth bass in the bottom of your boat........Roll OVER and smile at the folks passing you by.....you figure out how to get up and notice all the really nice blue streaks that you left when you "flopped" out of the chairlift.....gotta love them new bluejeans...... :-) The slope was only 1.5 miles back to the bottom and it took be only 1 hour 15 minutes to travel the 1.5 miles DOWN THE HILL.........Shoot....it takes a while to get your legs out of a good pretzel twist, explain to an Italian that doesn't speak English that you are sorry for "running him over" and all this dialog takes place in Alabama Southern Drawl.......Like to have NEVER found my ski after the 4th fall and wound up in the trees........I did manage to find it and I finally made it down the slope......I managed quiet well.....ran over 4 people, fell at least 237.42 times.....embarrassed myself about 60 times and the ONLY dry spot on me once I finally reached the bottom was my socks......inside those ski boots.........

OH yea.....did I mention: "the ski slope was white AND blue (denim blue) for the rest of the weekend...... :-)

It was a lot of fun....but have NEVER been back....
