I just finished this biz card holder. It's turned, routed and bandsawn walnut crotch lasered with a company logo:

I've cross-posted this in the laser forum too - not sure if that's allowed - I'm sure someone will tell me if it isn't.

Does it qualify as a "bowl"?

Beauty! GREAT IDEA Dave. Those pups will sell like wildfire..... Yup, could be. But the upcharge for sanding Amalfi Semidconductor off of it for the folks at Snafu Semiconductor is gonna be huge.

Thanks for the laugh Andy :D and for the kind words from t'other fellas.

Barry - yes, I have several variations in mind.....post-it notepad holder with pen, pen/pencil holder etc. I'm not in the business, but if anyone wants to pay me to make them, I will.

Very nice. I may try that myself. Well, without the laser etching or the nice form, or attention to detail...
