This one is my best bowl that I have made yet but I still have a ways to go. It is about 6 inches wide and made of walnut. Sorry aout the poor pictures but I always have trouble getting good pictures of walnut.

Comments and critiques are welcome.

Another beauty Mike. Again nice form. What kind of finish are you using? Nice job.

The Maple bowl had a homemade wiping poly made of equal parts Turpentine and Spar Urethane. This one is Tried and True original formula that is a BLO beeswax mix.

Very nice, Mike. It flows well through the form. I like the finish, too.

Nice looking bowl Mike. I like the shapes of this and the maple bowl. Especially for salad style bowls.

Mike, looks really good. I especially like the slightly closed form, think it looks classy.

I like the trend in turning now to do the bowls footless. Your piece shows why. Nice shadow line without looking like it is floating off the table.

Love the form, nice smooth lines. Pics look ok to me, in focus anyway. If you are using a flash, you might want to try turning it off and using natural light, like from a window. Might help eliminate the blue highlight you got in the second pic.
