Well finally got the mahogany salad bowl set done. I tried 4 different finishes and ended up using General Finishes. They really turned out well. I think the kids will like them. I have sat them in the cabinet on a towel and covered them with a towel. They can set there and cure till Christmas.

Bernie, they look absolutely wonderful. You did a great job on keeping them uniform in size. Great finish as well.:) :) :) I am having difficulty picking out my favorite one though :D :confused:

Thanks for the compliments. Ed would you believe that the only thing I measured on them was wall thickness. Other than that I didn't measure for size at all. Eyeball I guess. They are all within 3/8" of each other.
Yea Andy I will get you a close up of the big one and a little one. Andy gave me a idea on the big one and it turned out pretty well. Don't tell him that or he will get a big head. Oh and Andy I think the big one will hold about 2 gallons of Dark Sweet Cherry ice cream. :p :p Here ya go Andy the close up's.
