Hello All,
I am looking to upgrade my homemade horizontal boring machine/mortiser, I have looked at several options out there and wonder if any of you own these pieces of equipment.

One is this overhead machine by Delta, I am not really sure what it was designed for but I could see it working well for mortises.

One is this piece of grizzly equipment, I am not a huge fan of grizzly equipment but this could also work. Anybody have any opinions?

That Griz unit looks like an "uncoupled" version of similar nature to the slot mortiser available for my MM FS350 J/P combo. (I don't have the mortiser due to space issues) This is the first I've seen it...very interesting!

Delta is a line boring machine, used to bore shelf pin holes. If my memory serves me correct, it has plastic gears, and hence it's low price as compared to other machines. I don't think they would stand up to stresses that you would be introducing on them.
