And the last one for a while, I promise...:D

8-1/2" tall... 6-1/2" wide... gel poly finish... the collar is a piece of Walnut that I burned... any and all comments/suggestions/feedback/critiques appreciated.

And yes, I realize the pictures still stink...

Mark,
I think it's a great piece!! Do you go through the whole processing routine i.e. rough turn, DNA, dry and finish turn, or do you turn green and let it dry while sanding?

Roughed green, DNA-soaked, wrapped and dried on the rack for about a month.

Mark,
Cool branded collar. I saw the Molly Winton demo at the AAW Symposium. Just gotta try it.

Mark,
Really like the color matchup and the design. I've got to reread the tutorial on doing add on rims. Brian

Wait, wait wait..... I think you should post a new one of these every day! I never get tired of looking at them. Every other day would be okay, if you get busy on other things;)

Mark, in general, I like this piece and the collar is just the thing. I do have a small concern with the transition point between the upper and lower portions of the form--it's more abrupt than I personally prefer. Just an opinion.

I don't disagree... looking at the pictures - and looking back at the piece again - it is fairly sharp.

Thanks for the comments and feedback.

Somehow I missed this one. Another winner in my book Mark. I like the collar, it goes well with the wood. I also like the form. Great job:) :) :)
