Pallet Wood

Hi all,
I'm sure this has been addressed before but I can't find it.
Pallet wood for furniture and, pallet wood, glued on-end, for making work bench.

Watch out for nails, embedded rocks, etc. Make sure the lumber is dry. Most pallets are made from lumber right off the sawmill, not dried. If it's less than a year old, the lumber may not be usuable as the moisture content might be too high.

Thank you for your reply. I hadn't thougt of the lumber being too wet since most everything here on the dry side of Washington is never wet but, I will definitely check. Again, thanks for the info.
