I just finsihed a project for our School & Church. (Not fine woodworking.. but still fun!)
We just added a computer lab in the school & I was asked to create a wall mural for the room.
I wanted something that would be fun for the kids (K-8th grade) and a little different.
So I created 8 different plywood panels (24"x24") and assigned a different computer task to each panel (i.e. CAD Design, Desktop publishing...). Each panel contains items (all spray painted white) that related to the task.
The hard part was think of and finding objects to represent each of these tasks. For example, Desktop publishing = cut- copy - paste.
The panels will be mounted on a wall & I will add a small spot light to each panel to add a little interest with the shadows.
