I have always liked following the advances in technology we make as a people on this planet.
One of these is in the area of medical advances. A couple of years ago scientists were able to finally get ahold of and manipulate the function of the exact nerves coming from the brain that controlled the different functions of our appendages. I read all I could find on this when it was released and my first thoughts were that as soon as a fast enough microprocessor was small enough we could start making bionic body parts.
