I had a great niece have one of her horses put down last spring and she has been on me about getting a cross made.

Typical procrastonater that I am it kept getting put on the back burner.

since I'm waiting on the weather to clear up a bit so I can haul the next batch of lumber in I whipped this out today out of a couple onld barn boards. Not some of my finest work but I think it will pass.

And I gotta save up for a replacement camera. the on on my phone is the pits.

Don't laugh at my crappy free hand router lettering :)

Tell us about the horse, Mickey. and why did you say "...another gone"?

Has she been loosing horses? am sorry to hear that. The horse must have meant a great deal to your GN. I am sure the cross did some to confort her.

Good job. I am sure the cross will serve Chances' memory well.

Oh no,, I meant another project gone, sorry for the misunderstanding.
I've been on a roll the last week. Finished up my sisters wall unit, got a small table built and the cross.

Only thing I really know about Chance was he was her first horse she got about 3 or 4 years ago. While they where on vacation and some one else was taking care of the animals he stepped on a log ot something and got a big splinter up the side of the leg. The lady that was feeding him either didn't notice or didn't care. By the time they came home and found out it was so infected they couldn't do anything with it. Just one of those things out of a persons control. Emily actually dealt with it very well.
