I've been procrastinating for a while now about building this display but thought I'd go ahead and get it done for a couple of upcoming shows. I've seen these here before and looked for the thread but couldn't find it.

The ring is some scrap walnut and I added the frosted glass so that it could be lit from beneath. I'm going to add a battery operated light so that I can use it whether I have access to power of not. I'll put a sandbag in the bottom to stabalize it so it's not easy to knock over.

Pretty cool Raymond. I like it especially where it can be lite. Nice job.

That looks great! If the shows are inside, the lights don't add much unless the house lights are dim. Plus, the batteries in the tap lights I used didn't hold out very long. I have an outdoor show coming up this weekend and I'll just use them as is, didn't have any tipping problems with mine.
