Last week bought a new Jet jointer 6", closed base, 1 HP at good price. They had it displayed next to a DJ20 and some other huge Powermatics, etc. one w a 12" bed which made mine look puny. (yeah I know EVERYONE said get 8")For me, its entry level into this new world of jointing. I'll set up and post pics upon my return.
BTW, as LOML and I were discussing the next project a few weeks ago, I said in my most authoritative, deep voice " The only way to do that project properly is with a new jointer":D :) :D OH well, I had to buy it...
