Oldham Blade #1007280T good deal ?

This is the Signature Series Woodworking 10x80t. I can get it for under $40 from a friend I don't know much about the brand is it a good deal ?

The Signature Series is said to be pretty good, but I've never tried one. I did have a 60T Oldham finishing blade from their contractor series and thought it was terrible...hopefully that's not an indicator of the quality of their Sig line.

I have this exact blade and have NEVER been happy with it. I get better edge finishes with my 40 tooth Freud. At one point I got it professionally sharpened hoping it would come back better and it did not.

I would not pay even $30 for another one if it was offered to me.

can't speak of the blade in question but generally speaking, oldham is not considered to be anything special when talking about blades. IMHO
