I have a problem that I need some advice on. a freind has a very old cape and he wants to make a new front door. The door is going to have a 2 layer construction the inside is to be 3/4" plywood and the exterior is going to be made of 1"x6" v match pine. the question I have is the best way to laminate these two together and still alow for the seasonal movement of the pine. I was thinking of a bread board type end with a shiplap joint but was unsure of the attatchment and type of glue to use? Any suggestions would be appreiciated.
