This weekend, I am doing a 3 day show. Did it last year and while it didn't make me rich, it was profitable. So far, this year, 2 pens and a small bowl. Just about pays for food and fuel.
Decided last night to test my "travel" lathe (a Wilton mini with 6" swing and about 12" length). So far,I've only done pens, bottle stoppers, and Kaleidoscopes on it. I got a Pine NE potato chip bowl started. Not able to jam chuck it to turn off the tenon, so I'll finish it on the Rikon. Was able to turn a Walnut ring box. 1-3/4" dia X 2-1/2" tall. Almost made the day worthwhile.
