1985 Delta 8 inch jointer-long bed

I am jointing mesquite boards for the most part and for the last two days, my jointing is not dropping the chips down the chute. They are coming right back toward me on the infeed table. Any fix experience in this area would be appreciated.

There proably some blockage of chips where the cutter head meets the chute. It used to happen on old 6" delta all the time.

Russ are you jointing green wood or dryed wood. Green wood will plug up the discharge of the jointer. This may not be your problem but I have had that problem before. Good luck with the problem.
