This hollow form is from a block of wood that my father brought back from his mission trip to Honduras. I think it's Honduran cedar otherwise known as cedro. The collar is ebony.

5" D x 4 1/2" T
Danish Oil Finish, waxed

Very nice Raymond. I just love the grain of the Cedro wood. Nice shape to it as well. Pretty....:D

Nice form and that's really pleasant material to look at. In this case, it has enough interest to set it apart without taking your eye away from the nice shape of the hollow form. Beautiful!
