Need help

While I have turned alot of pens I have not turned every type. So my question is this. Is there a pen out there that will allow me to leave about a 1/8 in of material on the pen body ? I have been working with acrylic casing but the material is layered on the tubes and I need about 1/8 of an inch to maintain a layer of acrylic over the material.

I'm not exactly sure about the amount of material left but you may look into the cigar pen. Right off hand, that strikes me as the pen with the most material left over. Even though 1/8" doesn't sound like much, when you are working with pens that's quite a bit.

The ever versatile Slimline without using the center band should work OK.
