Needed Advice-Too Late

This was my last weekend to use the family minivan so I was in a bind. I wanted to buy a new band saw and needed help. With the network being down, I had to rely on myself:( I wanted to ask you what to do but I couldn't. I ended up getting the Rikon 18" saw and it works like a champ.
I hope I made a good decision:eek:

I sure do like mine so far. Lots of power, very smooth running after set up. I did change to a 1/4" Timberwolf, since I cut some smaller radiused stuff.

I also really like the tension release, no memory spots so far like I had with the 14" Rikon.

The table is a bit bigger than the 14", altho' the slots are the same distance apart, as my pen cutoff sled fits both saws. Now if Woodcraft would start carrying some 142" blades.....................
