I'm getting ready to glue up zebrawood to make a table top. Is zebrawood oily enough that I need to wipe it with naptha first? I'm thinking of using URAC 185 PR glue, but what glue would you use?

I have used TightBond II and had no problems. The wood is not oilly and somewhat porous which allows PVA glue to work

Hi James,
For regular construction gluing, I've always used Titebond II also, for veneering, I use Unibond 800. I've never felt the need to pre-treat for oilyness or anything special.

James,
What Mark said!
I love using Zebrawood for accent stuff, and have never had any problem at all with Titebond II.
