When I post a link, can I edit it so it says something other than the actual address it leads to? For example: click here.

But the easier answer is actually hidden inside that "little blue ball with the chain link" image in the "post making tool bar".

I tried using the little blue ball (I think it is the earth) but it won't cooperate with me. Are there instructions?

First highlight, right click, and copy the destination url.

Then highlight the text in your post that you want to serve as the visible link.

Then click on the blue ball (formerly known as Planet Pluto).

You'll see a http//: thing highlighted. Ignore that and paste the url into the window.

Click OKay.

Voila.
