These are some pieces we have had around a couple of weeks and finally were ready for polishing. The reddish bowl is about 9 x 9 and is Orange Agate, the multi color lower bowl is 10 x 6 and Pink Flame wood. The tall piece is what I made a couple of weeks ago with a home made skew for the skew contest. It is about 9.5 x 18.5 and is Red Dalmatian Wood. All were rough turned and boiled , air dried to 20-25% and then kiln dried to 6 % prior to final turning. Finish is polyurethane floor finish wet sanded with soap and water to 1000 then buffed with an old rag and waxed .

Simply beautiful, Jim.
And I thought I was good, not to tear up a NE Cherry, I'm finishing up. 100% done with a 1" HF HSS Skew, from cut up log chunk to bowl.
Always impressed with your skill!

As usual, Jim, you've presented us with some beautiful turnings, and amazed at least me yet again with what is possible with homebuilt equipment.
