I want to thank fellow Creeker Vaughn McMillan for his great tutorial on how to make the "zig-zag", or 3D pattern on his serving tray. LOML said she wanted something that she could use to sit on the couch, or in bed while she ate. The top is cherry and soft maple with a mahogany border, and the legs are some scrap tiger maple I had laying around. It doesn't have the final finish on it yet, but I wanted to post it and see what you all thought. Thanks for looking.

Looking good Guy!

Vaughn's been very helpful to me in the past too. Late last fall he sent me lots of information and schematics about wiring an electric guitar. Due to surgery and other circumstances beyond my control, that project is simmering on the back burner still, but I've got his info and will be referencing it soon enough.

Help! I can't find the tutorial. That is so great, I gotta see how he did it.

That is the most absolutely amazing work of wood art I have laid my eyes on. Makes my eyes hurt to look at, but I love it :)
