Lana that is a pile of pens. What wood did you use for the pens? What is the wood on the top piece? Looks like you have been busy. Nice work.

Looks like you have been busy! Can't really see to much as the photo is so small. SMC will allow larger photos than that. That's a whole lot of pens, but can't tell what kit's they are?

Bernie that is my favorite wood.
It is Zebra wood.
The pens were from an Oak tree we cut down last summer. I made 126 of them for Christmas last year. The tree was one that was planted by my Hubby's Grandfather a long time ago.

I thought that may be what is was and it is a nice wood. I like it and Bocate. The oak pens look nice and wow 126. That is a bunch of pens. Great work Lana.

Lana that's some real nice lathe work there. Keep it up and soon you'll make something real useful, like a bowl for icecream:)

Oh yea now that show that zebra wood good now. Very nice. Pens look great. Yep I agree with Jim. Now ya gotta make a ice cream bowl at least a 4 scooper. :p

Wow, Lana, that's some impressive work. 126 pens for Christmas? My goodness... How long did it take you to make those?
