Please forgive me for posting too many, I'm on a roll with this new photo tent! From a big chunk of wood gifted to me by Phil Duffy. Roughly 15.5" by 5", Watco'd but not buffed yet--still some tool marks to sand out.

I turn a lot of pecan, and I have never turned any more beautiful than this. I like your treatment of the bottom.

There's no such thing as "too many" pieces like that. That is some incredible wood and a great job!
