Do you use locktite so that knobs don't come loose? Which version/color of locktite? I have some screw that won't stay tight.

I forget the numbers, but blue comes off easy enough. Red may need heat to loosen.

I use it all the time on lots of things. Blue is the one you want because green/red requires heat to remove. Here's the link...

Loctite 222 or 242 should work nicely, they are blue in color. I wouldn't recommend the higher strength ones that are either green or red in color.
In a pinch you can use some carpenters wood glue on the threads.

another option if you don't already have loctite and you do have a LOML, SWMBO, or SWMBOette is clear nail polish...It works it really does.
