I'm in a wait mode - for dye to dry. I will apply 2# cut shellac tomorrow. I have to sand the furing off and I usually use 320 which works great. As you can see from the picture below, I have a bunch of surfaces that are not readily accessible. Would a 3M green, or other color, work in this application? If not, what you you suggest? Thanks.

Byron, the pad should work find for removing "fuzzies". You might try the white, however, as it's finer.

I like to use sanding pads in various grits. Klingspor has them as do others. These are foam pads with grit on the surface. Carl

A tip I'll offer on sanding between finishes (and I'm no expert...) is to use "FRE-CUT" sandpaper. This type of paper has stearates (or salts) embedded that essentially lubricate as you sand and help keep the paper from clogging or "korning" as it is called. I use 220 or 320.

Some finishes instruct to not use stearated paper, so read those labels.

Todd.
