Hi,
Another completed project I have to share. My sister wanted a computer desk that didn't look big and bulky for a small room.

Hi,
Thanks. I used an "Oil & Urithane" Top coat by "General Finishes", Satin.

Very nice job Randy. I like it, looks really good and doesn't appear that it will take up a lot of space.
What kind of wood did you use?

Thanks all,
I used Ash on the desk.
My sister is allready using it, she loves it. Sure beats buying one of those partical board things.

It does feel "light" and right on relative to the requirements you were given. Nice job!

Looks good.. and practical :)
As a techie I dont like some of the designs where the PC is completely hidden away. Makes my life difficult when I have to work on them, cooling of the machine can be a worry and sometimes they limit you as to the size of your next PC box. No worries on any of those with your design.
And I agree.. about 100 times nicer than a particle board thingy :D

I like the simplicity of design, and the openness. Nicely executed and finished.
VERY NICE work Randy.......

I like that "recess" in the upper shelf -- to tuck the monitor into........??
Looks great! How'd you like the "oil and urethane" finish??
